Tina Monico, NP – Nurse Practioner
Tina is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing adult medicine for over 18 years. She has spent the last 4+ years performing sclerotherapy on a wide variety of patients and embraces a patient centered philosophy. Her patients appreciate her attention to detail, friendly and warm demeanor, and gentle and accurate skills as an injector. She also enjoyed a fulfilling career caring for patients in intensive and postoperative care at Northwestern’s Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago.
She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University.
Tina lives in the north suburbs of Chicago with her husband, their three young children and dog. When not in the office, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and staying active by practicing yoga, Pilates and playing softball.
Dena Gutierrez, CMA – Practice Manager
Dena began working alongside Dr. Woloson back in 2000. As Practice Manager, Dena leads our team of dedicated staff and is responsible for the day to day operational management of the practice. Dena graduated from Olympia College in 2001 with a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Certification. She takes great pride in knowing that our patients are receiving the best services possible from an outstanding Vascular Surgeon and exceptional team.
Ken Langworthy, RVT – Vascular Imaging Director
Ken has 20+ years of technical and managerial experience in private practice vein clinics and vascular laboratories, performing a wide variety of vascular ultrasounds. Since 2004, he has worked in private practice with Dr. Susanne Woloson specializing in vascular and varicose vein treatment. Working with Dr. Woloson has heightened his interest in varicose vein disease, and it shows through his knowledge and expertise. His extensive experience makes Ken uniquely qualified to teach and prepare others in the field of Vascular Ultrasound. Ken has taught ultrasound to sonographers and students; he was the clinical coordinator for Rush Presbyterian St Luke’s Bachelor Degree in Vascular Ultrasound program. Ken is a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound.
Ashley Enhelder – Surgical Coordinator
Ashley oversees the complete process in coordinating and scheduling your surgical procedures, and is accommodating to the needs of each and every individual patient. She takes all the prior steps in contacting your insurance for necessary prior authorization, as well as plan benefit verification. Her ability to rise through the ranks, in a short period at Northwest Vascular and Vein, is a testament to the quality and dedication she provides to make our team successful. She has been an employee of Northwest Vascular and Vein since February 2014 and is a great asset to our staff.
Holly Haney, CPC, CMA – Billing Representative
Holly is the billing coordinator for Northwest Vascular and Vein Specialists team. Holly joined Northwest Vascular and Vein in 2015. Holly is a Certified Professional Coder with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Holly is committed to making sure that patients receive accurate insurance reimbursement and medical billing statements, as well as providing great customer service.
Elizabeth Garcia – Receptionist
Elizabeth is our very polite, friendly and extremely capable receptionist, Elizabeth has a passion for delivering excellent administrative support face to face and over the phone. Elizabeth is also bilingual in Spanish and English. She joined Northwest and Vein in 2017.
